Faculty members’ professional lives have become increasingly demanding, further fractured by the plethora of new technologies they are being asked to use to teach, both online and in the classroom. Prioritizing your own needs can be challenging but it’s also essential.
Please take care of yourself. In this time of change in the university, the seasons, in the world around us, many of us are experiencing more anxiety, uncertainty, sadness, and frustration, than we’ve ever felt before. What can you implement today and do often–daily, every other day, weekly?–that will give you joy and allow you to pour back into yourself? Here are some quick and easy possibilities:
